Vacancy: PSS independent Board member x 2

The Board of Port Skills and Safety Ltd is looking for two new independent Board members.

We are currently seeking a Board member from a communications / media or PR background, ideally with experience of trade unions / public sector or maritime. We are also seeking a Board member with an academic background ideally with expertise in health and safety, maritime or other safety-critical sector.

PSS is a non-profit organisation and as such both roles are voluntary. We are particularly keen to hear from female applicants or those from ethnic minority backgrounds to support equality on the board. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for their first Non-exec Board role.
