Port Skills and Safety is launching a special deal for new members to claim their first three months of membership free.
Ports can be dangerous places and PSS believes that all those who work in and around them can be exposed to these dangers if they are not aware of them. By encouraging all those who operate in the sector to join PSS, ports become safer places for all.
Sharing best practice in port safety is one of the core commitments of PSS and becoming a member allows companies to access and contribute to this wealth of information. Membership also allows companies to be part of the conversation around the future skills needs of the sector.
Other benefits include access to safety alerts shared by members highlighting issues they have experienced; the Ask Members service to get expert advice on any health and safety issues you are experiencing within the ports sector; and invites to a range of committees and industry safety and skills events.
Potential members can find out more about the services offered by PSS – including a number of new initiatives for 2022 - in our membership pack.
Membership is open to: Port or terminal operators, port companies, labour supply companies, contractors or suppliers based wholly in the port environment, harbour authorities, terminal operators and stevedores.
Affiliate membership is open to organisations who do not operate wholly within the port environment but who make a contribution to the work of ports.
Training Provider & Consultants Subscription is open to training providers and consultants who provide learning and development or safety services to the ports industry.
