A simple red/amber/green status shows compliance at a glance, automated verification confirms qualifications, and built-in checks flag fraudulent or expired certificates before an individual reaches the point of access. Training renewals, competency requirements and licence validity – including direct DVLA licence checking – are tracked and alerted automatically, giving safety, HR and procurement teams a single, trusted source of truth for audits and assurance.
For security-sensitive environments such as ports, the platform’s access-control capabilities are equally central. Site entry can be managed through smart card, mobile app or NFC, with geo-fenced login and site-specific entry rules that flag risks before access is granted. Every entry and exit can be recorded, giving operators a clear, real-time picture of exactly who is on site at any moment, with non-compliant access flagged immediately to a designated contact. Because access rules are configurable per site, multi-site operators can standardise expectations across every location while accommodating local requirements.
A defining feature is that records follow the individual rather than the employer. A contractor’s verified competence and credentials travel with them between sites and organisations, reducing duplicated vetting, cutting administrative burden and maintaining consistent standards across a transient workforce – a particular benefit where the same specialist contractors move between multiple operators.
Procheck is SSIP accredited and fully GDPR-compliant, with data hosted either in the cloud or on the client’s own infrastructure. The platform currently supports around 1,500 linked sites, 8,000 daily checks and 46,000 registered individuals.
