A CPD accredited one-day training course providing an overview of where media sits within the Command and Control of a Major Incident. The course includes an overview of the principles of communication in a crisis, development of media strategies and identifying key messages/narratives. Includes practical experience of a media interview. Aimed at individuals who may be required to prepare and communicate messages on behalf of their organisation during a Major Incident response. Thereby, raising awareness and introducing the different aspects of how to interact with external media organisations and partner agency communications teams during a Major Incident.
Cost: £375 + VAT per delegate (including refreshments and lunch)
