Hao Zheng is the founder and CEO of RoboK, a VC-backed spin-out from the University of Cambridge that transforms standard CCTV into AI-powered safety and operational intelligence for industrial environments.
RoboK is deployed across multiple UK ports, including Peel Ports, Warrenpoint Harbour, and Portsmouth International Port, where it uses existing off-the-shelf cameras to detect hazards such as PPE non-compliance, vehicle-pedestrian proximity risks, and unsafe behaviours. RoboK’s work with the Port of Dover won the Safer Logistics Award at the Safety and Health Excellence Awards.
With a background in data analytics and professional experience at Arm and Deloitte, Hao founded RoboK to bridge the gap between complex visual data and practical, frontline safety outcomes.
