News |Published: Jul 12, 2024
PSS, the standard-setting body for the port sector, has revised the National Occupational Standard (NOS) for the Supervision of Port Operations in conjunction with employers and stakeholders. The revisions update the NOS to reflect any changes to the role and meet guidelines published by Skills Development Scotland.
The revised NOS suite will be distributed to PSS members and stakeholders for a two-week consultation from 15 July and will conclude on 26 July.
This consultation process allows any specific requirements to be considered by each nation so that a set of NOS are produced that are suitable for use across the UK.
