Women in Ports network

Women in Ports mentoring programme

The Women in Ports network is jointly managed by the UK ports associations – Port Skills and Safety, UK Major Ports Group, and the British Ports Association – and also supports the Maritime UK ‘Women in Maritime‘ initiative.

The mentoring programme supports those starting out or looking to build their leadership journey, pairing mentees with experienced professionals from across the port sector who can offer guidance, support and fresh perspective.

The 2025/26 cohort will be the first of this programme and is proudly sponsored by Forth Ports, Peel Ports Group, Port of London Authority, and Associated British Ports.

To ensure everyone gets the most from the programme, all mentees and mentors will take part in a training session before the mentoring begins. This helps everyone start with the same understanding and confidence. Please add the training dates to your calendar when submitting your application.
