SVQ Port Operations SCQF level 5

This Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) is based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Port Operations and has been developed in close consultation with industry.
It allows candidates to demonstrate competence in job-related skills in their particular area of work and expertise.
It provides a wide range of options from berthing vessels, to moving containers using shore-based lifting equipment, to resolving customer service problems.

This is a Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) level 5 qualification.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Candidates are not required to have prior qualifications or knowledge to undertake this qualification.
Candidates should be in a job or placement where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow them to gather the required evidence.
Typical duration
60 (minimum) to 80 (maximum) guided learning hours.
