Training Providers
Training Provider membership is open to companies providing learning and development to harbours, ports, and terminals in the UK and Ireland. We do not accredit training providers, but act as a network to put members in touch with them, advertise courses and invite their input into training standards and course development. In addition to standard membership benefits, training providers can also attend the training provider working group. Be part of:
- Improving Standards: Influence the creation of National Occupational Standards to ensure port training meets real industry needs.
- Improving Skills: Collaborate to develop and deliver training programmes tailored to port industry demands.
- Leading Innovation: Be at the forefront of driving innovation for port training through active participation in events and working groups
- Deliver Collaboratively: Work directly with PSS to deliver specialised courses for members.
- Promote Courses: Feature courses in the PSS Training Directory – the first stop
- for port learning and development teams.
- Industry-Leading Events: Discuss training opportunities with key decision-makers at seminars, webinars and conferences.
- Action Groups: Influence industry standards, and join working groups to network, develop, and share best practice – including a dedicated training providers’ group.
- Develop Resources: Gain recognition amongst port learning and development teams through expert contributions to tools and resources.
- Campaigns: Influence positive change and improve working lives in and around ports through sector-wide initiatives.
- Sponsorship Opportunities: Showcase training programmes directly to key-decision-makers and build connections across the port community.
Training Provider Subscription 2025: £750.00 + VAT
PSS subscription year runs from 01 January to 31 December. Subscription fees for organisations joining part-way through the year are calculated pro rata.
