Port Skills and Safety appoints new Board member: Mark Rushton

Port Skills and Safety Ltd (PSS) has appointed Port Director Mark Rushton to the Board of Directors.

We are delighted to welcome Mark, CEO of COMET, to the Port Skills and Safety (PSS) Board. Mark brings over 20 years of experience in developing a deep, forensic understanding of the root causes behind incidents and underperformance across a wide range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Construction, Ports & Marine, and Utilities. Through his work at COMET, an organization that integrates technology and expertise to mitigate risks and resolve systemic issues, Mark has dedicated his career to building sustainable solutions that prevent incidents and drive better performance.

A graduate from Aberdeen in the late 1990s, Mark has continuously expanded his business and commercial expertise, leading product developments, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions that fuel growth and innovation. His passion for collaboration, particularly in how technology can bridge gaps between industries and create more informed, proactive approaches, aligns perfectly with the mission of PSS.

With his global experience and commitment to safety and performance, we are confident that Mark will be a valuable addition to the PSS Board, and we look forward to the insights and leadership he will bring. Welcome aboard, Mark!
