New SiP on fishing port safety open for feedback

PSS is pleased to present a new Safety in Ports guidance document designed to provide advice and best practice on the safe operation of fishing vessels in UK ports and harbours.

This SiP was produced as part of a project to support ports in improving the safety of the wider fishing sector. PSS members, fishing charities and related organisations are now invited to review this SiP to ensure it meets sector needs.

Fishing Port Safety Manager, Kevin Robinson, will be visiting ports and harbours over the coming weeks to introduce the SiP and support managers in implementing the recommendations.
