Explosive Security Officers (ESO): 23 April 2026
Training
PSS is pleased to advise that the one-day Explosives Security Officer courses will run throughout 2026.
These courses will be held on site at the Cranfield Ordinance Test & Evaluation Centre (COTEC) in Wiltshire.
The day will run from 08:45 – 16:30 and include an explosives demonstration in the afternoon sessions.
The course will be delivered by Liz Nelson of Cranfield University, and Dr Qamar Khan of HSE and Trevor Lawrence of COTEC.

This course is aimed at managing the risk of explosives in ports and is suitable for:
- Explosive Security Officer
- Those with ESO responsibilities
- Those responsible for ESOs
- Harbour Masters

Members Rate: £925+ VAT
