PD Ports

ONE OF THE UK’S MAJOR PORT GROUPS, WE OPERATE AT 12 LOCATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, CONNECTING WITH KEY GLOBAL MARKETS.

Our ethos is built on creating trusted, long-lasting partnerships that allow us to understand customers and their unique requirements. We aim to be a seamless extension of your business, providing in-depth knowledge and time-served experience to improve supply chains.

Throughout our history, we’ve earned a reputation for being a reliable, safe pair of hands – a business that will be there when it’s needed and get the job done. We’re forward thinking and innovative, always going the extra mile to ensure what we’re offering is what our customers require.

Headquartered in Middlesbrough, we operate Teesport, a major deep-water complex and one of the largest container ports in the north of England, supported by our dry bulks operations that can handle metals, aggregates, coal, agribulks, construction materials, forest products and biomass.

To complement our operations, PD Logistics is our leading logistics business, delivering flexible portcentric solutions to improve your supply chain. With a developed warehousing footprint, supported through Teesport, of over 3 million square feet, with multiple clients, we are the leading edge portcentric logistics provider in the UK.

Following an increase in traffic and a demand for ports to offer a fully integrated multi-modal transport infrastructure, Teesport has seen major investment in its rail facilities. Teesport Intermodal Rail Terminal allows customers to move cargo further with frequent, reliable and cost-effective rail links. We work with customers to offer solutions to fit their needs.

Underpinning all our work is health and safety. It’s at the heart of our work and our number one priority. Our commitment to health and safety has previously been recognised by the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) awards, achieving gold status for the third time in 2023.

Employing approximately 1,500 people nationwide, we own and operate well-connected ports along the east coast of the UK, including key locations at Felixstowe and the Humber Estuary; unlocking key markets across England and Scotland and providing access to the hub ports of Europe and further afield. Our trusted international partners stretch our reach far beyond the UK, allowing services to be delivered throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
