The Competency Framework working group was established in February 2023 to create a competency framework for the UK port sector.
The group’s role is to take an overall view of and establish any necessary sub-groups for:
- Developing an overarching Competency Management System (CMS).
- Developing supporting documents.

The group typically meets on the third Friday every two months at 11:00-12:00.
