Main Responsibilities

To help us deliver this service we are seeking a self-motivated and pro-active person to assist the Health and Safety Manager to ensure Safety, Health and Environmental compliance and achieve best practice.  As well as assisting in the review and development of effective policy and procedures, you will carry out inspections and audits, provide expert guidance to staff and help maintain a strong H&S ethos throughout the organisation.  As an organisation working on shore and at sea, this is an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to take the next step in their career and work towards the NEBOSH Diploma.   

You will need proven H&S experience and a good knowledge of all relevant legislation, be computer literate and be prepared to travel.  Some construction, maritime or environmental assessment experience would be desirable.  You will be a member of IOSH at Tech IOSH grade maintaining your CPD record accordingly.

The working environment can vary from land-based installations to offshore, or over rough terrains, travelling by road, sea, air or on foot. Coupled with mandatory offshore helicopter and sea survival training, an appropriate level of health and fitness will be required.
