Reporting to the Group Sustainability, Safety and Regulatory Manager you will work closely with the Port Management teams to deliver an effective and proactive Health and Safety service predominantly in the Port of Leith, also supporting the Marine and Property Teams.
The key objective will be to ensure the ongoing implementation and development of the Company’s safety management system. This will involve advising on safe working practices and the risk assessment process, conducting and supporting safety audits, safety conversations, incident investigations and project work.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, administration and IT skills are required to support your promotion of a proactive, positive and professional safety culture. You must also hold the NEBOSH General Certificate.
If successful, you must be prepared to undertake the NEBOSH Diploma.
