Earlier this week we had the pleasure of welcoming over 50 PSS participants who made their the way up to sunny Scotland from around the UK to share knowledge, good practice and make new connections within the ports community.
Special thanks to our hosts, the Aberdeen Harbour Board for not only hosting the 128 Port Skills and Safety Group Meeting at DoubleTree Hilton but also for providing members with an insightful tour of the Aberdeen Habour and the new site of the harbour expansion at Nigg Bay. Thank you also to Simon Clarke from the Health and Safety Executive, the numerous presenters, the staff at DoubleTree Hilton and especially the members and friends of the PSS community that made this event such a success.
We are proud to have been able to bring together industry relevant updates, value added service providers, and thought provoking material on safety culture. The tremendously positive feedback recevied, is an indication that those who attended this PSSG meeting left with new knowledge and better connections in the community.
