We currently have four main working groups that we take responsibility for:
This is a joint Ports, Health and Safety Executive and Unite the Union group that is responsible for our Safety in Ports guidance suite. It meets approximately every six weeks and both develops new content and maintains a review on the existing guidance.
Marine Trailblazer Apprenticeship Group
This group is working to develop two Marine occupation Trailblazer Apprenticeships: Port Marine Operations Officer and Marine Pilot.
Marine Pilot National Certificate Group
This group is working to develop a nationally recognised certificate for existing Marine Pilots
Port Operations Trailblazer Group
This group is working to develop a Port Operations occupational Trailblazer Apprenticeship.
