Casualty ‘A’
You are cooking dinner when your partner returns from the pub drunk. He loses his temper when he discovers dinner is not ready and strikes you hard across the face, fracturing your right cheekbone and causing your nose to bleed. You lose your balance and fall to the floor landing heavily on your left arm suffering a closed fracture to the wrist. As you fall you knock a saucepan of boiling water off the stove scalding your husband’s right leg. Use your own name and the address shown and dress appropriately for the occasion.
Casualty ‘B’
You arrive home from the pub drunk and on finding that your dinner is not ready lash out at your partner in a drunken rage striking her across the face. As she falls a pan of boiling water gets knocked off the stove scalding your left leg. You are confused, your speech is slurred and you cannot remember what happened. You respond slightly to the pain in your left leg but are unable to answer any questions in a sensible manner. Dress appropriately for the occasion.
