•Burst varicose vein to left leg – bleeding profusely
•Open fracture to left lower arm – bone protruding, bleeding moderate
•Shock
You are a port operative at Seaport Docks and were walking along the quayside when you slipped on the damp surface and fell to the ground fracturing your left arm. As you fell you struck your left leg against a mooring bollard bursting a varicose vein. You are in severe pain from the arm injury and are unaware, at first, of the injury to your leg. Use your own name and address and dress appropriately for the occasion including an HV vest and hard hat.
