Unit 5 - Receive, store and despatch cargo

This unit is about receiving, storing and despatching cargo. It includes:

1. preparing for the receipt of cargo,
2. storing cargo, covering the monitoring and maintaining of appropriate storage conditions, which includes where the cargo is being held in transit,
3. handling and despatching cargo using safe handling methods, to and from various modes of transport.
