These National Occupational Standards detail the competencies required of a Port Operations Supervisor.
The Port Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the operational activities associated with the transfer of cargo and passengers between the vessel and cargo storage area/passenger terminal. The standards are relevant to the following supervisory roles:
- Supervisor – Stevedoring
- Supervisor – Marine Operations
- Supervisor – Passenger Operations
- Supervisor – General Operations
