Seward Wyon Ltd are a privately owned, multi faceted specialist engineering company established in 1981 and now employing over 50 staff. Operating predominantly within the ports and marine industry, they supply structural / mechanical engineering design and modification, dismantling, erection, relocation, repair, refurbishment and maintenance to all types of dockside cranes and associated equipment.

Seward Wyons in-house engineering design team provide part of the capability required to undertake major specification changes to dockside cranes and equipment, from increasing the working height of ship to shore container cranes to extending boom lengths and replacing slew rings. This service is backed up by a team of experienced site supervisors, riggers, fitters, coded welders and an 800sq mtr fabrication facility.

Seward Wyon engineering surveyors are available to travel at short notice anywhere in the world to assess damage to cranes and equipment for insurance purposes, produce detailed reports, liase with the client and help reduce costly downtime.

As a company they have successfully carried out many projects around the globe and are ISO 9001 and LEEA accredited.

This total in house service package has earned the company an enviable reputation within the industry and gained them an impressive list of clients around the world.
