•Pattern bruising to the left side of the abdomen with internal bleeding

•Nose bleed – bleeding moderate
•Cut to left eyebrow – bleeding moderate
•Cuts and grazes to knuckles of the right hand – bleeding slight

Casualty ‘A’
You were returning home from a night out with two friends and, whilst waiting for a bus on Mostyn Broadway, were set upon by a group of teenagers. One of them knocked you down and kicked you several times in the abdomen whilst one of the others took photos of the incident using a mobile phone. You have pain in the left side of your abdomen and are confused and irritable when the first aiders approach you. Use your own name and address and dress appropriately for the occasion.

Casualty ‘B’
Whilst waiting for a bus on Mostyn Broadway with two friends you were set upon by a group of teenagers. One of your friends got knocked to the ground and kicked in the body and you rushed to help him. You managed to punch one of the attackers a couple of times, suffering cuts and grazing to the knuckles of your right hand in the process, but, as the group run off, you get hit in the face yourself and suffer a nose bleed and a cut above your left eyebrow.
