MCA Proposal to Make Mandatory the IMDG Code Provisions for Training

The MCA will be asking the International Maritime Organization to amend Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Code so as to make specific requirements for training of “shore-side” personnel mandatory. This Information Paper requests comments from subscribers on the proposals by no later than 17 June.
