Draft Fumigation Text for IMDG Code

Subscribers that transport, open and enter container units – particularly those that operate container terminals – are invited to comment on the attached text concerning fumigation of containers. The reported increase in the proportion of containers that are transported under fumigation – often without the relevant IMDG Code markings – have led the MCA, in collaboration with industry, to produce supplementary information that will be incorporated into the IMDG Code.
