Dockers' Historical Asbestos Ruling

Subscribers may be interested in a recent High Court ruling that the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI) can now be held responsible for the health and safety of workers at docks throughout England and Wales in the 1950s and 1960s. This will result in many former dock workers and their families being able to sue the Government for compensation associated with asbestos-related ill health.
