Crane Safety - HSE Additional Guidance

Please find additional guidance from HSE relating to crane safety.

This Information Paper updates previous Information Papers:
• Inf2010004 and Inf2010006 on general crane safety
and
• Inf2010023 Mobile Crane Failure Through Over Use relating to the failure of a crane when the rated life cycle was exceeded.
This latest paper deals specifically with recommendations on routine maintenance and thorough examination and testing of lifting equipment.
