2004-5
No breathing and no pulse, small cut to bottom of right foot – bleeding freely.
You were swimming in the sea off Llandudno when you get caught in a strong cross current and realise you are out of your depth. You have struggled for some minutes to get back to the beach and have cut the bottom of your right foot on a sharp stone. When pulled from the water you are not breathing and have no pulse but both will be restored within three minutes if properly treated. You remain unconscious throughout the test and react only to pain but not to any questions asked. Dress appropriately for the occasion.
