Scalds to left hand, closed fracture pelvis – right side, shock.

You are on your way to Chester by train and pop into the buffet at Llandudno Junction Station to buy a coffee for your journey. As you leave the buffet you trip over the door sill and fall heavily on your right hip, spilling hot coffee over your left hand. You suffer scalds to the back of your hand and a closed fracture to the pelvis on the right side. You are in considerable pain and extremely concerned that you are unable to stand up.
