The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have published a leaflet and corresponding poster on how to provide basic first aid in the workplace.
The revised leaflet – which is primarily aimed at trained first aiders – features simple advice on how to resuscitate a casualty and deal with injuries, such as severe bleeding, broken bones and burns.
Meanwhile, the poster features corresponding tips on how to resuscitate a casualty and call for an ambulance in the event of an accident or injury at work.
